Harley-Davidson May Move Productions
Harley-Davidson is doing a major evaluation of its main production plant in York, Pennsylvania and may consider moving. The evaluation comes, as no surprise, as the company attempts to lower costs within a sales downturn. They believe the factory is not competitive as it stands and a change is in order. As of yet there are no potential new locations for the facility which employes 2,400 workers and assembles to company’s Touring and Softail motorcycles.
